1. Your new EP, Behind the Wall, has just been released. Can you tell us what inspired you during the creation of this project?

We had a feeling like the whole world is boiling, like we all feel that something needs to change globally and we have hit a wall as a species. That’s something we have felt for a long time now and it seemed to us like a lot of people feel that way. We are always positive and we try to bring that positivity to people through our music, we believe in a bright future that is expecting us “Behind the Wall”.

2. Your ambient music is known for its emotional depth and atmospheric quality. How do you manage to translate such subtle feelings into sound?

We are always honest with our music. We believe that artists should always be honest when making music. These are our inner thoughts and feelings, all our music has come to us naturally and we are sharing it with the world.

3. How would you describe the evolution of your sound in this EP compared to your previous works?

Compared to our previous releases, this EP is a lot darker and sadder, but it’s only like that cause we have felt that way and portayed it through the music.

4. Behind the Wall was released under Siril Records, which is becoming well-known for its support of emerging artists. How has your experience been with them?

Siril Records is very kind to us and everyone is treating us very well. We were very surprised at how well the communication is going, and how friendly the people are. We are happy with the freedom of expression that the label has given us, and we are already planning and looking forward to working more with Siril Records in the future.

5. The ambient music scene seems to be constantly evolving. How do you see the future of this genre, and what role do you think you will play in it?

We actually feel quite the opposite, like this year ambient music has taken a step backwards and there was no progression towards something new, like a lot of artists are making what they are accustomed to and what makes them feel safe. We always try to be honest and we are not trying to make what others are already doing just for the sake of fitting in. We feel that the genre has a very bright future, it’s a genre that tells the most about humanity and we believe it will be around for a very long time. As for us, we hope to be like that one track you hear at a party, that is different from most of the tracks in the set, but makes everyone happy and makes them want to hear more.

6. Which track from Behind the Wall are you most attached to, and why?

Our favorite is Pt.3 because it brings is in some happy elements to a dark theme, offering them as a solution and a way out, and also to try and catch the listeners attention without them expecting it.

7. How important is the visual aspect of your music? Did you collaborate with visual artists for this EP?

We find that the visual aspect is very important, but we are also very careful about it because we feel the visuals can become oversaturated very fast using todays technology. All the visuals for this EP was done by Siril Records and we are happy with the results.

8. Lastly, what can your fans expect from you after Behind the Wall? Are there new projects already in the works?

We have multiple projects in the works. We are doing collaborations with two other artists, one is a space ambient EP, and the other a compositional ambient EP with nature sounds. We also already have a fully done ambient/electronic album, and are also working on a solo drone/space ambient EP. All in all, we have plenty of projects planned for this year.
